Surprisingly, Bloody Mary’s aren’t usually vegetarian, but adding Yondu vegetable umami to your Bloody Mary will make it the easiest Bloody Mary styled cocktail you’ve ever made. Mindful Mixologist has created two quirky cocktail recipe’s using Yondu – “Bloody Umami” and “Umango”

Bloody Umami

Ingredients:

  • 50ml vodka
  • 100ml tomato juice
  • 15ml Yondu vegetable umami

Method: Lightly shake and strain into a rocks glass, garnish with split lemongrass

Umango

Ingredients:

  • 10ml Yondu vegetable umami
  • 50ml tequila Blanco
  • 2 teaspoons mango jam
  • 25 ml lemon juice

Method: Shake everything with ice and pour over a large ice sphere. Garnish by using a bottle cap to stencil a circle out of a leaf.
