Crispy garlic chips

Try these easy oven-roasted chips, crispy golden brown and full of flavour. Serve with steak or simply dip in ranch dressing.

 2 large floury potatoes e.g Maris Piper
 2 tbsp Olive oil
 1 tbsp Garlic salt

Preheat the oven to 200°C.


Peel and cut the potatoes into thin long strips - the width of your finger is ideal.


Rinse the chips under the cold tap and pat dry with a tea towel before baking.


Spread the chips on a large non-stick baking tray or an oven safe dish and toss with oil and garlic salt. Make sure everything is mixed well.


Roast for 40-50 mins, turning now and then. When cooked they should be golden brown and crisp with a light fluffy centre.


Serve with sea salt and finely chopped parsley sprinkled over the top.
