Keep warm this autumn/winter with this simple festive mulled wine recipe. Don’t worry about purchasing a super luxury wine, a cheap red wine will work perfectly for this!

 1 Orange (halved)
 1 Bottle of Red Wine
 60 g Demerara Sugar
 1 Cinnamon Stick
 Grated Nutmeg
 1 Dried Bayleaf

Pour your wine into a saucepan along with the orange, sugar, bayleaf, and spices.

Heat until the sugar has dissolved. It’s recommended you taste it at this point so you can add more sugar if need be.

Strain it into heatproof glasses and serve immediately!

Start a 10 Minute timer.
